The International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) is an international certification system covering all kinds of bio-based feedstocks and renewables catering to energy, food, feed, and chemicals sectors.The ISCC EU is the first and leading voluntary scheme based on the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED), covering the environmental and social aspects of biomass production. It is compatible with other RED schemes.ISCC certification enables delivery of products compliant with the sustainability criteria laid down by the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED). Two type of ISCC Certification: ISCC EU ISCC EU certification provides proof of compliance with environmental, social and traceability criteria, and qualifies biomass or biofuel companies for legal recognition under the targets set by European regulations for transportation fuels.
